Outside Groups - Currently Using Resurrection Lutheran Church Facility

Alcoholics Anonymous: AA holds weekly meetings in the church building. AA meets at 8:30 pm Sunday & Wednesday nights.

Weight Watchers: Weekly WW meetings are held in the church building on Mondays at 4:15 & 5:30 pm.

Cairo Emergency Shelter: The church building has been designated as the Red Cross Emergency Shelter for the Town of Cairo, and is used as needed.

LEAH Home School Group: Meets monthly during the school year on Friday afternoons.

 

Greene County Board of Elections: The church is the polling site for Cairo residents in primaries and general elections.

 

 

Building Use Policy - For Outside Groups

 

Our desire is to serve the people of our community by offering the use of our buildings by outside groups when their purpose and practice do not conflict with the mission and faith of RLC, and when the space is available.

 

We seek no financial gain through the use of the church building by outside groups, but do ask for a minimum donation to cover operational costs such as electric, heat and janitorial services.

 

Each building use request is considered individually by our Building Use Team. For additional policy information, and to make a request, please contact Properties Director, Judy Knoll at 518-622-4023 to make a request.

 

 

Building Use - by RLC Groups & Ministries

 

Church ministry leaders are asked to coordinate use of specific building space through the church office (622-3286 or office@RLCCairo.org), where the building use calendar is managed.
