The LWML (Lutheran Women’s Missionary League)

 

The LWML of RLC is a fellowship & serving group for women of all ages who are members & friends of Resurrection Lutheran Church. This group offers a diverse program of service & mission projects, each done in the name of Jesus Christ and to His glory. Meetings are held as needed, but service and mission projects are continually in progress.

 

Anyone interested in joining the LWML or participating in any mission group may contact President Marge Edge (518-943-6981 or mme28@mhcable.com) or any current member of the Ladies Guild.

 

      

 

Mission Groups & Serving Opportunities include:

Provide nursing home worship service assistance & support

Making catheter bags for the nuring home

Needle Workers                        

Providing treats for children           

Cooking a meal for someone in need                                  

Sponsor Red Cross blood drives at the church                     

Filling Mite Boxes

Host luncheons following funerals, or other church events

Provide church kitchen care                 

Eyeglass collection & donation

Making lap blankets & premie hats for Ronald McDonald House

Knitting/Crocheting afghan squares for "Warm Up America"

Knitting helmet liners & scarfs for men & womon serving our country in the armed forces (those interested will find instructions for making these items in the church Narthex).
