Understand our worship
What to expect when I visit | Understand our worship | Introductory Video | Directions | What Do Lutherans Believe? | How Do I Become A Christian?
Worship…is God's gift to His people. He comes to us in His Word and gives us forgiveness, peace, wisdom and strength to live. At Resurrection Lutheran Church, our worship is Liturgical, as we use the time-honored liturgy of the Church, similar to that used in a Roman Catholic tradition. Our worship is ordered around God's Word and the Sacraments of Baptism and the Lord's Supper. Through our worship we seek to motivate and equip all people for service in Jesus' name, and to boldly make Christ known throughout our community and the world. We strive to make our worship relevant and challenging, visitor-friendly, dignified but not stiff. For more about Worship, read our booklet, Worship Gives Life to Your Life.
