	Discipleship Series Adult Bible Classes \| Special Classes \| Discipleship Series \| Small Groups Our Discipleship Series offers an exciting spiritual growth process to every adult who worships at Resurrection Lutheran Church. This process consists of four successive 7-10 week courses: 1. “Discover Resurrection” - Committed to Membership. Through Bible Study and discussion, this course teaches the basics of the Christian Faith, the Lutheran Denomination, and introduces the participant to how Resurrection Lutheran Church operates as a congregation. For those who are interested, this is the course requirement for church membership. This course is taught by Pastor Nelson. In Process through May 2010 - 9:15-10 am. 2. “Discover My Ministry” - Committed to Ministry. Through Bible study and the use of personal profile tools, this course focuses on five personal factors that have combined to S.H.A.P.E. us into who we are today. Identifying specific traits in each of these areas helps participants discover the ministry and ways to serve that God has designed for each. This course is taught by Deacon Shirley Algozzine. In Process through May 2010 - 9:15-10 am. 3. “Discover Spiritual Maturity” - Committed to Spiritual Maturity. Through Bible study and discussion, this course is designed to help God's people grow in Christ, delving deeper into some of the topics studied in Course 1, Discover Resurrection. This course is taught by Elder Bill Metzler. 4. “Discover My Life Mission” - Committed to Mission. Through Bible study and the use of various tools, participants will strengthen their dedication to the Lord, be motivated to share their faith, learn more about how to witness to our Lord, and develop a personal testimony of what Christ has done in their life. This course is taught by Deacon Shirley Algozzine. These courses are usually offered on Sunday mornings during the Christian Education Hour, but may also be offered at alternatives times, such as Saturdays or evenings. The purpose of this Discipleship Series is to help our people know Jesus Christ, grow in Christ, serve Christ, and share Christ with others who don't know Him or need to know Him better.
